Markus Schulz announces new city compilation "Prague'11"

In 2009 and 2010, respectively Marcus devoted his compilation to North America. This year, that honor fell out of one of the most beautiful capitals of Europe, Prague. Almost immediately after the announcement of this news came the cover to release. It shows a breathtaking view of Prague.

"The boundaries of the music scene is constantly expanding, regardless of styles that are at the peak of popularity - Marcus says - except for Czechoslovakia, in this case involved and the countries of eastern Europe - such as Poland and Ukraine. Trance-music managed to grasp the immensity - and I, like a mirror, trying to reflect this in their work. "
In November last year, the musician spent a long time in finding a suitable electronic sound especially for its new release Prague'11. On February 11, The German musician will present his new work, and the next day will play their latest compilation for Czech fans in Prague.

ERIC PRYDZ LAUNCHES NEW LIVE SHOW: EPIC on 2end April 2011

Eric Prydz is one among the many fine musician Sweden has produced. Prydz who is a school drop out started playing piano at the age of eight,  later played drums in a synth band "Enemy Alliance" soon began to produce his own music and started djing at local clubs in his city Stockholm.
All though he started releasing techno and house singles in the year 2000 itself on records like Parlophone, Credence and Truesoul his first major hit single was "Call on Me" in 2004 in his debut with the massive DATA Records which flew straight to number one in the UK and European charts and  stayed for more than five weeks and selling more than 4.5 Million copies worldwide.     After becoming the only artist even given the go ahead to remix Pink Floyd, Prydz released the huge Proper Education, Remixing Floyd’s Another Brick In The Wall which was the dance floor destroyer all over the world and he reached number two in the UK charts. The track was subsequently nominated for the 2008 Grammy for Best Remixed Recording. Prydz has proven to be an artist that can actually fuse commercial success with underground success, something previously impossible to achieve and sustain. Again 2008 saw "Pjanoo" his third successive smash hit with Data Records. The track was soon taken as the soundtrack of the partygoers all across the world as its powerful melodic piano lead hook consistently managed to get everybody dancing to it at clubs and festivals. Pridz is known for producing tracks under a dizzying number of pseudonyms like Pryda,  Cirez D, Axer, Moo, A & P Project and Sheridan.
He currently owns three record labels named Mouseville, Pryda and Pryda Friends. Releases on his more hard-edged Mouseville Records under the pseudonym Cirez D have been tough and powerful a throw back to the underground techno roots his native Sweden has become so famous for. The huge demand for this label has been nothing short of amazing with his massive ‘Knockout EP’ selling over 18,000 copies on vinyl alone. The more melodic based Pryda imprint showcases his early house influences with harmonies, melodies and hooks fused with his trademark powerful basslines. Pryda & Mouseville are solely for Eric’s own productions, vehicles to develop his sound a sound that has become so influential, constantly imitated and copied but yet to be bettered. Therefore Pryda Friends was created to release friend’s productions as currently there was no other outlet for the growing list of tracks submitted to Eric by his close colleagues. Collaborations such as the hugely successful Paolo Mojo “1983” & Axer “123”/ “321” written with fellow Swede Axwell proved the worth of this new imprint.
Niton The Reason Another big tune from Eric Prydz, set for release in February 2011, "Niton (The Reason)" features remixes from Sigma, PRYDA, Treasure Fingers and Boy 8 Bit. Probably another proper top five release from the dance music producer, the single is a dance floor standard to be, with synthy squelches and effects throughout the mix and the breakdown where the vocals bleed through is the definition of sublime club music.

2011 will see the launch of a new show concept from Eric Prydz that will once again place electronic music back at the forefront of technological innovation. Utilising groundbreaking new technologies Prydz’ new ‘EPIC’ show sits neatly at the meeting point between cutting edge music and technology.

"Eric Prydz In Concert " (EPIC) The world premiere of ‘EPIC’ will take place at London’s O2 Academy Brixton on Saturday 2 April. The show features a unique – metre installation that extends from the stage out into the crowd (with a build time of 3 days). It will also see one of the first uses of holograms in a live music show environment, in addition to 3D animation and film that is mapped onto the sets moving and static structures. All video content for the show is designed specifically for the intricate projection surfaces. Prydz has commissioned (and funded) the show himself. He approached production company Immersive with a brief around the concept of ‘The Man Made In Nature’, juxtaposed with ‘How Nature Influences The Man Made’. The result is a multi-faceted visual show and a vehicle for Prydz’ music. ‘EPIC’ will exclusively feature Prydz’s own material (under his various guises including Prydz and Cirez D) and will be the trigger for all the show’s visual elements. Award-winning VJ, Ralph Lambert, will control the visual side of the event using the groundbreaking Addict Show Control System.

ERIC PRYDZ COMMENTED:
“When I approached Immersive I told them I wanted a new show that expressed my music in a visual context. I want to push the boundaries of a live electronic music show with technology that hasn’t been used before and to give my fans an experience that they will never forget”.
